Καλογερόπουλος Κωνσταντίνος

Γεννήθηκε στην Αθήνα το 1967. Σπούδασε αρχαιολογία και ιστορία της τέχνης στο Πανεπιστήμιο Αθηνών (πτυχίο 1990) και προϊστορική αρχαιολογία, κλασική αρχαιολογία και αρχαία ιστορία στο πανεπιστήμιο της Χαϊδελβέργης, από όπου έλαβε το διδακτορικό του δίπλωμα τον Μάιο του 1995. Από το 1996 έως το 2009 εργάστηκε ως ερευνητής στην εν Αθήναις Αρχαιολογική Εταιρεία. Το 2010 εκλέγεται στη θέση του ερευνητή Δ´ βαθμίδας στον κλάδο της προϊστορικής αρχαιολογίας στο Κέντρο Έρευνας της Αρχαιότητας της Ακαδημίας Αθηνών, το 2014 στη θέση του ερευνητή Γ᾽ και το 2019 στη θέση του ερευνητή Β’. Η έρευνά του εστιάζεται στη μελέτη της προϊστορίας της Ελλάδας στην Εποχή του Χαλκού στους κύριους τομείς της (πολιτισμός, κοινωνία, θρησκεία) καθώς και στην εξέταση του ερωτήματος της μυκηναϊκής καταγωγής μετα-μυκηναϊκών θεσμοθετημένων πρακτικών, με έμφαση στις θρησκευτικές τελετουργίες. Έχει αναλάβει το έργο της δημοσίευσης των ευρημάτων των ανασκαφών της Αρχαιολογικής Εταιρείας στην προϊστορική ακρόπολη της Βραυρώνας καθώς και στη μυκηναϊκή Ακρόπολη της Αθήνας.

Τα αποτελέσματα των ερευνών του έχουν παρουσιαστεί σε πολυάριθμα διεθνή επιστημονικά συνέδρια και σε δεκάδες προσκεκλημένες διαλέξεις σε πανεπιστήμια και επιστημονικά ιδρύματα της Ελλάδας, της Ευρώπης και των ΗΠΑ. Έχει διδάξει επί σειρά ετών μαθήματα προϊστορικής και πρωτο-ϊστορικής αρχαιολογίας της Ελλάδας σε πανεπιστήμια της Γερμανίας (Erlangen/Nürnberg, Marburg, Μόναχο και Trier).

Είναι Εταίρος της Εν Αθήναις Αρχαιολογικής Εταιρείας (1999) και μέλος του Διοικητικού της Συμβουλίου για την τριετία 2020-2023. Είναι αντεπιστέλλον μέλος του Γερμανικού Αρχαιολογικού Ινστιτούτου του Βερολίνου (2015). Το 2023 εντάχθηκε στο μητρώο των πιστοποιημένων αξιολογητών του Ελληνικού Ιδρύματος Έρευνας και Τεχνολογίας (ΕΛ.ΙΔ.ΕΚ) στον τομέα της προϊστορικής και πρωτο-ϊστορικής αρχαιολογίας.
